"Peace and Quiet"

My wife Jane and I have just moved to this suburb and we LOVE it. It is so quiet, the locals are friendly and its lined with trees, yet only 9-10km to the city!

"A hidden gem close to all Brisbane has to offer"

We have lived in Stafford Heights for 6 years now and we love the leafiness, the fantastic cafes that pop up (Enoki in Farrant St, Prova Pizzaria in Wilgarning St, The Colour Nine in Mawson St) as well as how close we are to the bigger amenities - 5 minutes to Westfield Chermside, Stafford City or Brookside. The airport link is easily accessible and it's a direct drive into either the City or the Valley, and an easy connection on to the Bruce Highway. There are excellent primary schools close by and the area is green and leafy with many parks to discover, and large dog parks for the furry family members. The neighborhood has a connected, community feel, we know all the neighbours in our street and the kids play together. What was traditionally a housing commission area is changing into an area of young professionals and families renovating their post war homes. We love it here!

"Trendy, city views, great public transport"

Been living here for five years now, love the city views throughout many of the hilly streets. It's getting more trendy with lots of new (and good quality!) cafe's and restaurants (including Prova Pizzeria on Wilgarning, The Heights, etc.) and not far from new dining options and shops popping up in neighboring suburbs. Multiple frequent buses and quick trips to the city down Appleby rd. - quick drive to the airport and tunnel to city, Great location with lots of opportunity for growth.

"Hidden gem, excellent value"

Stafford Heights is one of the best places I've lived. Approximately 8km from the CBD its close enough to be part of the action but still quiet and relaxed. Its in a very convenient location and has good public transport with high-frequency buses as well as lots of shopping options close to Chermside and Stafford shopping centres, and Coles, Woolies and Aldi are all close. The area is getting trendier with new cafes and restaurants popping up e.g. the Two Zero Bar and Inn, Prova Pizzeria on the popular Wilgarning street or Grilling Art (awesome burgers). Ive also noticed a lot of renovation happening. Despite this the area is still very affordable to buy and rent much more than surrounding suburbs, and you get a decent amount of land. No issues with flooding due to the elevation (as alluded to by the surburb name), with lovely breezes in Summer and city views in some parts. The area feels very safe and has a real community feel, maybe because more people own their homes rather than rent (no units) so you have a more stable community. There are good schools within the catchment and great childcare options.

"Good investment location"

Stafford Heights is well located, and definitely a good long term investment because of its location. No trains, but plenty of buses service the area, and also the new Airport link and Inner city busway are nearby. Also the suburb is very close to both Chermiside and Stafford City shopping centres, which both have cinemas.

"Dissapointing"

I just recently moved from Stafford Heights. I found that there were a lot of Hoons in the area and in the street that i lived in there has been 3 burglarys in the past 3 months. After living in Salisbury for 3 years I did not find the area as friendly as the south side suburb. Didn't enjoy my time at Stafford Heights, so far so good with Milton.
