Reviews of Stirling North, SA
"Great Family Orientated Area"
Plenty of housing in the area, most businesses are in Port Augusta so less traffic, more room for kids to ride on push bikes.
Good school with safe playgrounds. Everyone is very friendly and willing to say "Hi and do you need a hand?"
A good area to purchase a family home and so close to everything.

"Someone once said to me "you'll be back"."
My family moved to Stirling North about 15 years ago and it wasn't the place I initially planned to live long term. We left after 2 years and guess what....we were back....and here we are still, having made many great friends in the area and now have stable employment for the whole family. Port Augusta and surrounding areas are not reliant on one employment industry, which is why it is has been a resilient town for many years.
There are not many places in the country where you can live within short distance to the Sea and the Ranges (the mighty Flinders Ranges). Within an hour you can be from a boat in the water to climbing many of the hills in the area; Devil's Peak, Dutchman's Stern, Mount Remarkable, Mount Brown, Alligator Gorge, just to name a few! Stop awhile and ask the locals, you'll be glad you did!
