Reviews of Tanawha, QLD
"Tranquil Oasis"
Tanawha is a tranquil suburb around the corner of the Sunshine Coast University and nestled between some of the best private schools on the Sunshine Coast. It boasts larger sized blocks made private by the surrounding forest, offering fantastic family living. Further to this, it is only a short 12 min drive to Mooloolaba beach, questionably the one of the best beaches on the Sunshine Coast! While there is very limited nightlife/restaurant scenery in Tanawha, you are sitting on the doorstep of surrounding suburbs, including Buderim, which offers a vibrant selection of cafes, restaurants, gyms and entertainment. On a downside, some of the streets in Tanawha are unfortunately backed onto the Bruce Highway, meaning there is some traffic noise. There is also very limited public transport options.

"Beautiful oasis tucked away"
Amazing place to live. Mainly large acreage properties, nice respectful neighbours, birdlife and rainforest.
Close to everything, very central Sunshine Coast (beaches, amenities, motorways)
Close to the university, and buses to good schools
Not great for public transport.

"Tanawha - Close to both beaches and hinterland with all amenities."
Tanawha is situated in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and is a lush green valley not far from the Bruce highway. The area has much to offer both the visitor and those looking to relocate. Close to the University, schools and all medical facilities Tanahwa also offers good shopping and accommodation as well as being within easy reach of the beautiful Sunshine Coast Beaches. The Tanawha Golf Club offers so much more than golf, with tennis courts and coaching for both, swimming pool and picnic area. You can visit some of the theme and amusement parks of the Sunshine Coast. Due the closeness of the Sunshine Coast and the beautiful hinterland home prices have risen quite and bit so it would pay to shop around for the best deals.
