Reviews of Taree South, NSW
"Beautiful place to live, cheap to buy."
Koorainghat is a quiet rural/bushland suburb which is 10 minutes from Taree with excellent facilities for shopping, hospital, medical and dental services, schools, sporting facilities and clubs. Also only 10 minutes to Tallwoods or 20 minutes to Diamond Beach or Old Bar. Most properties are either cleared or part-cleared acreages with electricity available. Town water is not available to most properties but with good management and the region's reliable rainfall this is a rate saver. Most properties have Envirocycle or Biocycle septic systems which seem to function very well with a regular maintenance schedule required by council. These have the advantage of providing a regular grey-water supply for gardens, orchards etc.

"close to beaches with all the peace and tranquility you could ask for"
Beautiful friendly area. Feels like you are rural yet without the hassle of being too remote. Rainbow Flat is close to all the amenities at Froster and Taree but surrounded by natural beauty spots. Wonderful wildlife with a choice of some of Australia's most beautiful, quiet beaches within a five minute drive. Rainbow Flat really is a hidden treasure, we moved around extensively before settling here 4 years ago and now would not want to live anywhere else.

Rainbow Flat is in a perfect position just a few kilometres from either Diamond or Blackhead beaches and central to both Taree and Forster/Tuncurry (15 minutes either way). You can have the best of both worlds at Rainbow Flat with excellent small and large acreage holdings within a peaceful forest backdrop. Quiet location with great community spirit.
