"Great place for families"
Great schools, many parks with fitness eqipment, long shallow beach, separate dogbeach, tennis, surfclub, kangaroos in the streets, hardly any traffic (who doesn't like being able to find a parking space every time?!!) and lots more... Definitely much better than living in Gladstone!!!!!!!

"Tannum Sands - Coastal town close to Gladstone."
Tannum Sands is located 20kms from Gladstone on the Central Queensland Coast. This area is only 9 kms off the Bruce Highway and is an ideal spot for swimming, snorkeling and sail boarding with beautiful Beaches which are patrolled during the summer season. Fishing is the area is great and Tannum Sands is linked to Boyne Island by a bridge. The whole area offers plenty of accommodation options including caravan and camping park, hotels and motels. There are a number of restaurants and shopping is good. This area is very residential and offers good sporting venues and playing fields, primary and secondary schools and fairly reasonable property prices.
