Reviews of Waverton, NSW
"Picturesque"
Waverton offers a delightful blend of peaceful living and urban convenience. With its picturesque surroundings, excellent transport links, and sense of community, I love all the amenities that Waverton has to offer.
Personally, I love the mix of period-style homes, modern apartments, and charming townhouses. The market caters to various preferences, making it attractive to families, professionals, and retirees alike.

"Peaceful suburb"
Really beautiful suburb. Peaceful vibes. Nice places to walk. Small businesses in the area like the Friendly Grocer with great products. Quick drive to the city.
"Waverton is changing"
Until around 3 years ago it was lovely and peaceful but in the past year it has changed.
There has been a fair amount of new development which has made a lot of noise and dust. It is still going on.
Sound carries from people having parties late at night across the bay. Sleep especially at weekends is disturbed.
The street lighting in roads off the main roads is inadequate and not well maintained.
There are cars speeding and screeching around corners quite late at night.
it remains a safe neighbourhood but has become overcrowded.
I loved it when I first moved into the area but am now looking to move further away from the city to a more rural area where pricing on property is more in line with peace and quiet enjoyment.
Great for
- Quieter than Neutral Bay
Not great for
- Becoming too overcrowded and noisy

"A charming neighbourhood, just a stone's throw from the CBD"
A tight-knit suburb with an endearing village feel.
Quiet and safe; wonderful for families!
Close to trains and buses. Easily reach the CBD in less than 15 minutes.
Nightlife is lacking and there are few restaurants. However, there are plenty in North Sydney and the CBD.
Wonderful views of the harbour. A gentle stroll through Balls Head Reserve is a must.

"So close to the city but miles from everywhere"
There is no place like Waverton, everyones heard of it but not sure where it is.Village appeal and right in the centre of Sydney. You can be in the city in 5 minutes or boating in 2.Enjoy Balls head Reserve but dont tell anybody this great secret. The best views of the harbour anywhere.
Yes I lived there for over 20 years and coming home soon.
