"live ina stunning national park"
Close to what you need, but far enough to not be a dormitory suburb of Sydney.

"A village in the national park close to Sydney"
Picturesque and friendly village within easy walking distance of beautiful World Heritage listed vistas. An 10 minute drive to the big supermarkets in Katoomba. The village itself oozes charm and has a number of boutique shops, a couple of grocery stores, a butcher, famous bakery and some other specialty stores. The Grand View Hotel is a hospitable pub that has a beer garden, kids room, and serves up good country fare. The other villages in the upper mountains are also beautiful and an easy drive from Wentworth Falls. Our street gets hardly any through traffic, it's lovely and quiet. Another plus is that you can go to Sydney for a day at the beach or in the city and be back by nightfall. I recommend this area for anyone looking for beautiful scenery, fresh air and friendly locals.

"A wonderful place to live"
Wentworth Falls is a lovely quiet village, being only 5 minutes drive from busy Leura, and 10 minutes from Katoomba, where you will find all the Banks, Coles, Aldi. The village has two fantastic butcher shops, and a bakery where people will travel from as far away as Penrith to buy their bread and pastries, for which this bakery has become famous. There are 2 medical centres and a wonderful chemist shop, 2 boutique supermarkets and a number of other lovely boutique shops. We have lived here for 15 years having moved from Sydney.

It's all here
You just have to go looking for it.
Yes, quiet. Leave the stress behind. Get an older house of which there are many, and be prepared to work on it.
Work on it is the principle that created this Nation. Too many soft-bellied complainers today.
Set an example!
