Reviews of Werrington County, NSW
"Lovely suburb"
Great suburb to raise a family or to retire. Mostly owner occupiers (some have been around since the 1970s), but the quality of renters are also better than what you would see in other Western Sydney suburbs.
You know all your neighbours and become friends with them over time and people help each other. This is the primary reason why we do not move back to regional NSW (where I am from) even though we could have.
Me and my wife have seen that there are recently more and more young professionals moving into the suburbs who work in large corporates and government. It does make us feel younger and create a slightly different (in a good way) vibe.

"Under rated Suburb. Quiet and beautiful"
Having just moved in I can say it's such a nice place. It's super quiet. Everyone is proud of their house with many different displays of lawn. There are a few local parks and the roads are clean and wide.
The only bit of noise you may get is from Dunheved road, which also makes the suburb convenient as this will be a main arterial road connecting St Mary's to North Penrith.
It's a bit of paradise in among the hustle and bustle of a VERY fast-growing area. The council is investing a lot in infrastructure and development which should bring a bit more vibrancy. Until then, it's a simple, pretty and quiet suburb. Our neighbours are lovely too.

"Safe Family Friendly suburb"
Been living here for over 5 yrs. It is easily one of the better suburbs to live and raise a family in Western Sydney . Safe, close to all amenities with lots of parks and good transport options. The community is tight-knit and always helpful.

"A suburb for families"
My family and I bought our first property and moved to the suburb five months ago. Werrington County is a small suburb but has everything you need - restaurants, supermarket and shops. On weekends we like to do a little trip to Penrith for the large mall.
Despite having moved here not long ago I feel that this is a suburb especially suited for families raising children and with pets. Our neighbours are friendly and we have already been to a few barbies at our neighbours’ place.
Talking of transport, I walk to the Werrington station to catch a train to Wynyard every morning - an easy 15 mins’ walk. The suburb feels quiet but safe in the evening. My husband drives the kids to school and then to work everyday.

"It’s definitely a safe suburb!"
I have lived in Werrington County for 4 years now and in St Mary’s for 2 years prior to that. I really disagree with the comments made by Joyce below. Our neighbours are all very friendly (and some are very wealthy), and I feel welcomed and very safe living here. The only downside is that the property here is more expensive, but I think it’s reflective of the quality of the houses and neighbourhood in general.
As a family of four (and a dog) we often take a short stroll to the nearby park and shopping village to buy our groceries. Have heard that there will be a shopping mall getting built in the next couple of years, which will make it even more fantastic.

your SO STUPID U WOULD RATHER LIVE IN Kingswood/Mt Druitt.
"A Great Place For Everyone"
We have lived in the County for 30yrs. We love it. It's central to everything. Midway between St Marys and Penrith and more shops within walking distance. Good public transport, buses and trains. There are good schools for the kids. Werrington Lakes within walking distance and Ripples Swimming Centre a stones throw away. The streets are wide and the gardens are great for families.

I have never lived in Kingswood or Mt Druitt but I completely disagree that Werrington County is unsafe.
