I have cockroaches and ants in my Sydney home during summer, and what can I do about it?

It was the middle of a scorching Sydney summer when I started noticing something unsettling in my kitchen. Every time I turned on the light, there were cockroaches scurrying away, and tiny trails of ants marching across my countertops. I couldnt figure out where they were coming from or why they seemed so much worse during summer. No matter how clean I kept the house, they kept showing up, and I couldnt help but wonder, Whats attracting them, and how do I stop it? It felt like I was fighting a losing battle.
