great suburb in Tamworth for active retirees

Hi CherylA1 have you seen the suburb reviews? This person has mentioned East Tamworth is highly suitable for families but I think it would suit you as well.
"Great town to raise your kids. Very safe and leafy in East Tamworth. The whole town seems a lot drier and less green than 20 years ago, so it feels a lot more like a hot country town than the lush green valley of yesterday. Most of the health and education professionals want an East Tamworth house, so you'll see immediately that the houses here are much more expensive than South and West. Obviously, the kids are less wild here, so crime is much less a problem than in South Tamworth. Great city at the moment for investors - rents in East are very good for the entry price - much better yields than you'll ever find in Sydney."
