Can you use the public BBQs in Tanah Merah on a total fire ban day?

I'm friends with a fireman and asked this question today! You're only allowed to use a BBQ during a fire ban if it's electric or gas, if it's a wood burning BBQ you could be fined up to $2000 apparently. Not worth finding out though.
