Living permanently at Tangalooma?

Can anyone who lives permanently at Tangalooma, the suburb, not the resort, please tell me how you get on for grocery shops. I see that Woolworths and Coles DO NOT delivery there? Is there an Uber service at Tangalooma? Finally is there somewhere were you can park a car near the ferry jetty, as we plan to travel via the cats rather than via vehicular barge. Any info you feel is necessary for us to know, please include - thanks

Living on Mulgumpin, I strongly suggest before commiting, you scope out the grocery/supply situation. Like all the bay islands, you have to transit by ferry to the mainland to pick up supplies in Brisbane/Cannon Hill near the ferry terminal at Port of Brisbane or for southern Islands' residents, Redlands, load your car and return back to the island. This is just thew way of life for non mainlanders. Many people try to live permanently on Mulgumpin, but they can't deal with having to be self sufficient. I know people who shop once a month and use long life products, or marry up their trip with trips to the doctors, dentists on the mainland. As far as parking your car, I'd advise you build a string relationship with the managers of Tangalooma Resort and negotiate a parking spot, all the best

Thank you for your reply. I am versed with the situation on the SMBI's, but not Tangalooma. Thank you for some extra information. Doubt we will end up there now though.
