Reviews of Tascott, NSW

"Perfection"

Idyllic little suburb tucked away between Brisbane Water and the national park. Backyard hikes, waterfront bike/walking tracks, parks, close proximity to schools and more. Easy access to the city by train or car.

"Romantic & Heavenly"

Such a peaceful & tranquil environment. Mists & clouds floating over the mountains, rainbow often sighted sometimes the end of the arch is in front of your door--walking into the rainbow, feeling like in a dream. Lovely kids help parents looking aft plants. Everything so innocent & cute. Neighbors always smile at u. Move here & you'll regain the innocence & become like a child. All the luxuries in life become unnecessary. A kookaburra is always on sight close to Dophin st in the morning. Showers here & there no need to water the garden. Environmentally conscious community many has solar & water tank. Not luxurious but all necessities to make u comfortable. Never any drunken swear heard on weekend night. Rarely any rubbish or bottles left on the curb. Back to the 1990' beautiful Australian scenes, no highrise. The move is the best decision I made in my life time. Happier everyday. Perfect place to raise children. A convenient train station. One bus to Umina Beach & the opposite of the street another one to Ettalong Beach. What more can a person ask for?

Great neighbourhood, with spectacular Water view. Heaps of options for outdoor activities, from walking along the water front, bush walking, surfing at nearby beaches. You can go for a weekend morning kayak on Brisbane water. Can easily travel to Sydney Within 1:20 door to door on train or 1hr driving door to door outside of peak traffic.

"Commuting Made easy"

We live in Tascott and commut to the city for work. Neighbourhood is very social and caring. Our dogs have escaped from our yard a few times and each time a loving neighbour has found them and put them back or given us a call.

Very peaceful and amazing water views from many houses at very affordable prices. There is some freight train noise but compared with traffic noise, and hooligans doing burn outs in Any area of Sydney I would much prefer this any day.

There is a really nice path along the water to walk the dogs with sensational views.

Eating out is limited variety.

"Undiscovered Hidden Gem"

Won't take long until this paradise is uncovered. Have rented in this area since 2011 and all I can say is that we absolutely love it here, so much so that we are now looking to buy in the area. Actually can't believe the prices on offer compared to Sydney for the equivalent.
I commute to Sydney for work from Tascott train station and while it does take a little over an hour, the ride is peaceful and always get a good seat.
Tascott is right on the water and our rented place has water views of Brisbane waters, looking to buy into similar.
Close to fishing and beaches and just love the weekends up here. Bike / walking track right on Brisbane Waters with views and no crowds like Sydney. I love my morning bike ride :)
People are friendly and helpful and the area is as safe as houses. Kids play on the street and down on the basketball court to dark without a care in the world.
Short drive to cafe's, restaurants, shopping at Erina and a huge medical clinic just opened up at West Gosford.
Having lived in many areas of Sydney I could not recommend this place more highly for singles, young couples and families.

"Paradise on the Central Coast"

Beautiful hills covered in different tones of green vegetation.
Amazing shades of blue coming from the waters of Brisbane Bay.
The fresh ocean breaze that cools down the warm days, gently wispering on your ears, while you watch the sailing boats racing on the Bay.
The serenity of the moonlight reflecting on the waters at night.
The tranquility of the suburb, where you feel you live in paradise.
The train at the door to commute to the city.
The shopping centres in close proximity were you drive to within 4 minutes and you always find parking spots and no one ever rushes.
The dozens of beautiful beaches that can be reached in 10 to 20 minutes

"Lovely, tree lined Avenue"

Quiet, tree lined Avenue with a natural beauty, views of the surounding reserves and located approx 500m to the water. Tascott has a village atmoshere with a local deli, yet only minutes to major shopping venues, schools, takeaways etc......recommended for families, couples and retirees alike. Additionally, working in the city is no prob with Tascotts very own train station.
