Reviews of Telegraph Point, NSW
"A relaxing place to live."
Tele Point is a great place for all. Kids will love exploring the bush, parents will love the safety of the area. It's peaceful and quiet most of the time and the neighbours are friendly. There's a strong community association, a lovely pub with great food and some entertainment, an excellent primary school and a daycare centre at the school. We have a hairdressing salon, a petrol station, a lovely cafe, churches, a sawmill and a community hall with a second hand book store. There's community dinners at the hall each month where you bring your dinner to share and the kids can play together while the adults chat over a wine or two. There's the river close by for fishing or boating, with the waterski/holiday park adjacent, a lovely riverside reserve with a boat ramp and picnic facilities and a large playing field with a mountain/BMX bike track and a kids playground. Tele Point is central to Port Macquarie, Wauchope and Kempsey being about 23 kms from each of the three towns. There's a mix of village housing on both sides of the river and properties ranging from lifestyle size to farming.Telegraph Point is just a great place to be!
