Schools in Temora?

Hi I was wondering if anyone with kids could give me an idea about the schooling options for kids who live in the Temora area? Where do they go to High School and do people travel into Wagga for school or is it too far?

Temora is well served when it comes to schools. There are the local state schools, Temora Primary School which goes from Kindergarten to Year 6. Then there is the Temora High School which goes from year 7 to year 12. For primary schooling there is also the Temora West Primary school which covers kindergarten to year 6.
There is also an excellent Catholic School. It is St. Anne's Central school which takes kids from Kindy to year 10. They then go to the High school for 11 and 12 or else they go to Wagga or another boarding school for years 11 and 12.
There is a TAFE in Temora as well and several pre schools and after school care centres.
My husband was principal of the catholic school for 5 years and I happen to know - althouigh they did not publicise it - that St. Anne's came 15th in NSW in the Naplan in about 2011. Not sure how they have done since but it is an extremely good result and miles ahead of the state school.

Thanks for that answer. I have a bit more idea now. We are currently living in a small town and I was wondering just how small Temora is? Is the population stable or do people come and go? I am a primary teacher and it is my husband's job that would be taking us to Temora so I'm also wondering if there is much casual work at local schools or whether I would be looking further afield? Thanks for taking the time to answer :)

Just adding, Temora High & Temora West Primary Schools both have excellent Special Needs units too!

we are very lucky we have 3 primary school and 2 high schools. There is Temora West, Temora Public and Saint Anne's Catholic school. Then Saint Anne's Catholic and Temora High school do secondary schooling. There is also a bus that takes children to Ariah Park Central school
