The area of Terranora lies to the west of Banora Point on the Tweed Coast of Northern NSW. It is elevated and many homes are lucky to have beautiful views towards the Gold Coast to the north or Kingscliff down to Byron Bay to the south. Terranora has a very rural feel to it with most of the residential area having been built on old farm land. The majority of the Terranora area is residential with residents driving to the larger towns like Tweed Heads, Murwillumbah or the Gold Coast for work. It is this reason why a car is essential and also why the area is so quiet.

There is a public Primary school (Kindergarten to Year 6) and a private Anglican High School (Year 5 to Year 12) with both schools regarded as being among the best in the North Coast region. A small shopping complex has recently opened and contains a SPAR supermarket, newsagent, hairdressers, chemist, fruit and veg shop, Thai restaurant and family-friendly Tavern. Other than these stores, residents have to drive into the nearest Coles supermarket which is located at Banora Point - approx. 7km away. Public transport is not great but buses do provide a daily service for those wishing to go to Tweed Heads or Murwilllumbah.

Terranora is a picturesque spot on the Tweed Coast that is a great location for those looking for a quieter, family-friendly town to raise a family or retire in - just make sure you have a car.

Bilambil is a little village paradise only ten minutes from Coolangatta. It is only 20 minutes from Bilambil to Surfers Paradise and 30 minutes to Byron Bay. Brisbane is an hour away. The village has a pre school and a fantastic Primary School. There is a winery 5 minutes along the road and a restaurant and cafe at the winery. Bilambil also has a village church, a retirement park, a Blues Club, a children's park, a Rugby League Club (seniors and juniors), plus touch football and cricket at the sports club. We have a deep creek that runs through the village, where you can catch Bass and Mangrove Jack. There many variety of wildlife, especially Australian native birds. Only 10 minutes away, in town, there are huge shopping malls, cinemas, Public and Catholic High Schools and a Grammar School, plus a university, There is also a skating rink, a bowling alley, a skate park, Gols Coast airport and many beaches. Half hour away are theme parks, Bond University and Griffith University. Much much more is accessible from our little village. A great life here.
