The best seafood IMO in Sydney is at Flying Fish in Pyrmont. It has a great atmosphere being on the jetty and overlooking the harbour. Get the melt in your mouth barramundi. Save space for dessert too!

For a more casual (aka less expensive) vibe head to Rocker in Bondi. The whole john dory, oysters and prawns are all highlights.

I like getting takeaway fish and chips from Fishmongers, Manly and heading down to eat it on the beach. They're also on Deliveroo http://mongers.com.au/.

For a good seafood restaurant I'd go to Sydney Cove Oyster Bar at Circular Quay great spot right on the water https://sydneycoveoysterbar.com/.

When it comes to seafood you can't go past Mr Wong's mud crab.

Or if it's traditional fish and chips you crave try Out of the Blue in Coogee. Try the fish burger for something different.
