Our house is 500m level walk to the beach.
Toogoom is certainly quiet & friendly. Many people walk morning and night and all say hello it seems. You can walk along the beach (approx 2.5km) to a beautiful restaurant which is located right on the waters edge near a small wharf and boat ramp.
Toogoom has bus services to all schools and an easy 14km drive to places like Harvey Norman, Forty Winks, Coffee Club TAB Woolies etc.
15km north is the famous Burrum Heads (lots of fishing)
