We moved to the area believing Toowong State School was one of the best for our daughter to attend. What we found was much different, communication is lacking, in fact, there is no communication. Teachers do not have the patience for children who are clearly struggling. Teachers have done their best at setting up online, however, there is too much pressure placed on parents and children to complete all of the work, especially when parents work or have young children to care for at home. The way the school has handled the crisis and bringing children online is indicative of how they handle other issues. Carolineg8 is correct, there is a community at Toowong State School, but that's not enough. We are seriously considering moving our child.

It’s a beautiful school. Extension programs, inclusive, community feel, garden. Bilingual program with Auslan. Fantastic staff, lovely children.
