Reviews of Troon Street, Novar Gardens
"Wonderful quiet family friendly area"
A great mix of young families and older population. Quiet suburb even though very convenient to the airport. Beaches a 15 minute walk away, city commute around 15 minutes on a weekend. Lovely friendly community feel. Great playgrounds and a good council area. Convenient IGA, great hairdresser and coffee shops all within a short walk. Prime location!

"Quiet and peaceful - a great spot to retire"
Novar Gardens is a neat and well manicured suburb, situated about 20 minutes from Adelaide's CBD and just a short drive from Glenelg. The homes here are mostly 1960s orange brick single storey houses. The blocks are a comfortable size, and every seems to be perfectly manicured.
The area has quite an ageing population. This seems to be a very welcoming area for retirees, and there is certainly a strong sense of community between the neighbours here.
The suburb only seems to have a small corner store, and so Marion and Glenelg are really the best options for shopping. They are both quite close by.
The only downside to the street is that it is situated right under the flight path, but fortunately the Adelaide curfew for flight times prevents any late night and early morning flights.
