The question of whether Twin Peaks is a good place to live for singles depends on what you think makes a good place for singles to live. On the one hand, there are not any nightstops or restaurants in Twin Peaks itself. (It is mainly residential.) On the other hand, you are right next to the Noe and the Castro, so you aren't far away at all, by car.
It is a little expensive for a lot of singles, but if you like living slightly outside of the action you might like it here.
