I lived there for a year, it was a horrible experience. So many people with modified cars are roaming the streets all day and night, tyre marks screeching sounds are always there to prove it.
The suburb is surrounded by industrial areas in all direction, making it regular for heavy trucks to pass by and pollute the streets with their loads of sand or construction materials. ( a brick fell on my car from one of them)
Cockburn cement, non stop pollution all year around, including the weekend. I do not believe that people and the council are ignoring this issue, you can smell it on daily basis and its a disgusting smell that will enter your house if you leave your windows open. And there is always white residue that builds up on cars from the factory. (fyi, I was 8km away from the factory)
We also had one break in, a smashed window but they didn't manage to steal anything because we heard it in time.
Coal burning cement factory there avoid for your kids and health.
I cannot agree more with the comments made in this post. Although we have not had any break-ins apart from my car (whereby the contents of my glove box were neatly arranged on the passenger seat!) it is the general disrespect demonstrated by people who live in the suburb that I find distasteful.
Ive enjoyed reading the positive posts published by the real estate agents of beeliar!! Much of what they have to say is not entirely untrue.
How many more bongs will I have to pick up off our street? And without sounding judgemental, why on Earth would you place your take away food wrappers BESIDE the bin? I think people get my take on hoons (please read the post from Rebecca above). Revenge on hoons has already been exacted and I must say that I am getting a similar buzz that they would get doing fishtails close to my house.
The suburb planning was interesting, too. Why is it that the Grange services the entire section of the suburb surrounding the IGA and other shopping complex? This increases noise and congestion.
