Bigblockman

We are moving out of Langwarrin because we are realising our dream of acreage in a rural setting but I would have been more than happy to stay there if I had the room to build a bigger shed!! Of course different people are attracted by different things and for most people the good block size in our area will suit most people. My hobbies include engineering and most houses have ready availability of three phase power should you want to have bigger machines for woodworking or metalworking etc. Langwarrin is quite handy to schools, shopping and virtually all amenities which makes it very attractive for people with young families or older couples rather than younger party animals. However I cannot understand why some reviews here have whinged about snakes. People who live in Australia should expect to see at least one snake in a lifetime. As with any suburb there will be occasional problems with hoons, grafitti and excess traffic but like anything, if you expect someone else to fix it, they won't. The more you speak up and complain to the local council or your local member of parliament the more likely it will be that something will be done about these problems no matter where you live. Such problems are usually caused by government mismanagement and are not specific to a certain location anyway. Overall a good place with good sized blocks, friendly people that is quite affordable for average people.
