Have lived in Mernda for four years. It is very different to other growth suburbs of melbourne because of the natural beauty of the trees and hills. Great options for shopping with the opening of the new woolworths in Mernda including cafes and takeaway shops. The Mernda kindergarten is fantastic. Opening of the south Morang station has made getting to the city much easier. Plenty road duplication will help to ease traffic. Lots of nice friendly families in the area. Lovely parks and playgrounds. Some really nice restaurants popping up in the area including Two Beans and a Farm at Carome Homestead. A lovely place to live.
