Miami

"Beautiful beaches, centrally located & family friendly!"

Experience a lifestyle that is far from ordinary in the gorgeous beachside suburb.

It's a great fun and friendly atmosphere in Miami, and everyone is just out and about enjoying the sunshine. One of the best features of Miami is the walking track directly along the beach, where on any given day you will find fitness buffs, walkers, joggers, cyclists and mums and bubs alike. This track extends all the way from the beginning of northern end of Marine Parade to Nobby Beach Headland at the south.

Beachside of the Gold Coast Highway you will find great restaurants and cafes, particularly Piccolo's cafe at Miami Beach Surf Club, where you can enjoy a coffee followed by a swim at the patrolled beach directly across the road.

On the western side of the highway, you will find a family friendly atmosphere, with plenty of schools, parks, and a shopping centre at 'Miami One'.

Particularly the western side of the highway is quite affordable and you can often find a good quality family home at a reasonable price.

Miami has everything, and it's no wonder it is one of the most sought after suburbs on the Coast.

Hedges Avenue

"When you know you've made it..."

...you live on Hedges Avenue.

The ultimate in beachfront living, Hedges Avenue is nicknamed 'Millionaire's Row' for good reason - it is one of the most famous and most sought after streets in Queensland, and you will often see celebrities and entrepreneurs on holidays staying here, enjoying all the spoils this location has to offer.

Houses with odd numbers enjoy direct access to the beach from their homes, while homes with even numbers will usually still enjoy gorgeous beach views.

Hedges Avenue is a one way street for cars, and plenty of runners, walkers and cyclists enjoy the extra large lane designed specifically for them. Speed limits are 40km p/h with speed bumps all along so you don't see too many hoons tearing up the strip either.

But the greatest benefit of Hedges Avenue is the close proximity to fantastic Mermaid Beach Surf Club, which all the locals know boasts great food, drinks and unbeatable views.

With Pacific Fair Shopping Centre just down the road and restaurants, cafes and speciality shops scattered all along Gold Coast Highway, everything is within walking distance and you won't need to use the car too often.

If you want the ultimate in beachfront living, look no further.

Marine Pde

"Beachfront + Lifestyle - the ultimate beachfront living"

Widely regarded as one of the most sought after locations in Queensland, Marine Parade is a stunning street parallel to the Pacific Ocean boasting beautiful beach and ocean views.

At the end of the street is Miami Beach Surf Club, famous for it's Piccolo's cafe, which serves up sensational coffee on a daily basis and is the perfect location to enjoy the beachy salt air, not to mention it is located directly in front of a patrolled beach so you can kick back while the older kids play in the sand and surf.

Marine Parade is also extremely popular with the fitness crowd, and everyday you will find plenty of walkers, runners, cyclists, mums & bubs and surfers alike flowing though as there is a great walking track that extends all the way to South Nobby Headland.

With Miami One Shopping Centre just down the road as well as plenty of great little boutiques for shopping, everything is so close by you will not want for anything.

Hosting a range of beach houses, unit blocks and villas, you can still find property in this highly sought-after street for under $400k.

You won't regret buying property here!

Albatross Avenue

"Beautiful road metres from gorgeous Mermaid beaches..."

Those living on the 'beachside' of Albatross Avenue can enjoy sensational views and direct access to the beach from their homes, while most who live on the opposite side will still experience gorgeous views and are still close enough to hear the waves.

There are a mix of high rises, smaller unit blocks, villas and homes along this road, so you can take your pick, depending on whether you prefer the comfort of neighbours or the privacy of your very own residence.

Most people think Albatross Avenue is out of their price range, but you can still nab a two bedroom unit for around $250k - $300k. Those wanting their own home may pay around $1 million.

Nobby Beach Surf Club is also famously located along Albatross Avenue. Enjoy a beer and a great meal at the most prime location overlooking the gorgeous sand and surf.

Can't rave about Albatross Avenue enough. Five stars!

Mermaid Waters

"Friendly people, fantastic central location!"

A suburb close to my heart as I own and live here...and I can't imagine leaving!

Mermaid Waters is fantastically centrally located to everything, with Pacific Fair and Q Supercentre just down the road, not to mention the close proximity to Pizzey Park Sporting Complex and numerous parks and schools.

The people are very friendly and it is a close-knit community where people look out for each other. There is also a great Neighbourhood Watch program in Mermaid Waters, and I donate regularly to this worthwhile cause.

Some beautiful homes can be spotted on the lakes, rivers and canals that wind their way throughout Mermaid Waters and allow boating access for the keen fisherman or boatie.

Located within a 15 minute drive to the M1 Freeway which can take you to Brisbane CBD in the north within an hour, and Byron Bay in the south in only 45 minutes. Mermaid Beach, Mermaid Waters and Miami are home to approximately 10,000 residents and are serviced by high schools, primary school, numerous day care facilities, Bond University, excellent sporting facilities and sporting clubs, and are regarded as some of the most livable suburbs along our coastline.

I highly recommend anyone looking to relocate to this beautiful area.

Mermaid Beach

"Why would you want to live anywhere else??!"

Mermaid Beach is geographically positioned in the centre of the Gold Coast alongside a 5 kilometre stretch of golden sand and surf beach and home to the famous Hedges Avenue "Millionaires Row".

Experience amazing views from Hedges Avenue and Albatross Avenue as kilometres of white sandy beaches await you. There are also some great parks in the area to enjoy a barbeque or a quiet picnic with friends and family.

The Nobby Beach local shopping area is nestled at the base of Magic Mountain and Santorini Resorts, and is developing a lovely village atmosphere with boutique shops, cafes and alfresco dining all found here.

Neighbouring the suburb of Broadbeach and one of the Gold Coast's major business centres, home to Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, Conrad Jupiters Casino, the Gold Coast Convention Centre, countless cafes, restaurants and shops as well as the Oasis Shopping Centre these are all within a few minutes drive.

Only 5 kilometres down the road will bring you to Australia's premier tourist destination Surfers Paradise where nightlife, bars, shopping and more restaurants are the order of the day.

Miami to the south also boasts one of the loveliest beaches on the Coast with a beautiful foreshore reserve inviting weekend picnickers and family barbeque goers.
