Coburg

"Culturally presumptuous"

I've never come across an area with such a chip on its shoulder and as many rude people in my life, not all are like this but there is a general problem with this area.
I happily & openly go along hoping to experience different cultures & people who have understanding & compassion, because they have had hardship, but all I find is mostly negative experiences (I've given it 2 years). I rent here but I will b moving because of the above and because there is always a large amount of rubbish around the streets partly due to people not caring less for example junk mail that they never remove from their letterboxes so it blows all around the streets (a reflection & attitude of the area) they knock a prison down (negative/bad energy remains from the prison that also affects this area) but they only end up building more prisons (psychiatric wards in rows that face each other)
Peoples attitudes & the standard of food concerning quality & what's available from the supermarkets/shops/markets compared to other areas + cafes restaurants etc. is definitely a way to judge an area and this is low to average standard

Box Hill

"Get ready for the high rise dog boxes & pychiatric wards."

Yet another china town. Not an integrated suburb. Is commercial/mainstream. Generally speaking, the people here are emotionless, therefore come across as cold. Business is void of any pleasant or genuine transaction other than for your money and high/fast turnover.

Not great for

  • Another homogenised suburb with people having desire/greed for western lifestyle but only ends up being turned into tacky and trashy. Example european style turned to commercial crap by the Americans and then the Asians making it even more tacky and commercial.
