Lived in labrador 3 years. Purchased a property here in 2008 which has risen in value by 70K so investment is fantastic. Some parts have a bad name but so do all suburbs no matter where you are i suppose. Some reviews say its got huge problems ! but i dont know where this comes from as i have not seen them. Never had a problem day or night. Some in my block only have a carport and have stuff stored there years and NEVER had any of it stolen. Restaurants are everywhere and southport teh gold coasts CBD is walking distance or if you like transport to anywhere is great. I believe a bad reputation from many years ago is something that others still apparently dwell on i dunno? So we are actually investing in another unit as arental property right now .
