Enjoyed living here for a period but have since moved back slightly to the serenity of Headland Park which feels more established, tropical and is higher up the mountain which will benefit in years to come. Alex Headland beach is the best on the coast in my opinion and has beautiful vibe all year round, great for nippers etc for the whole family.

Rented in Woombye for quite a while and also work here regularly. It’s ok, but there is very little happening in the town so you always need to drive to get what you need. A little ‘gossipy’ too given it’s so small. Personally we just felt too far from everything you want to be close to on the coast (shops, surf, school etc) and we didn’t regret moving out of there.

Travel here every week for work from interstate. It’s coming into another world. Planning to drop everything and move here within the next 12 months when I can find the opportunity. Great sense of community and just feels different to anywhere else I’ve been. Work on top of the mountain but would most like to live in the Headland Park area so I’m close to the surf
