Lived in Moruya my whole life. Wonderful place, Gods Country. Until 5 years ago, then everything changed. Inlfux of Canberrans to live here has killed the spirit of the community. As soon as they move here they think they own the place, no respect for us locals, all with the edlusional mindset that because they have more wealth, that they are superior to everyone else. Silly people. I wish they would stay away

The town is filthy and has a strange creepy feel to it. The people are just the worst I have encountered in all my years of travelling / working around Australia. They are rude, ignorant, foul mouthed and very aggressive. Walking down the street in this town feels intimidating. Luckily I am only here until June, then I can leave and never come back. What an embarrassment this town is to FNQ and to Australia.
