Salisbury

"Wonderful place to live!"

We purchased our first home in Salisbury 12 months ago and couldn't have asked for a better place to live. The community spirit in our street is amazing and we frequently have get-togethers with residents from several streets as everyone knows everyone. Salisbury is nice and quiet and has good public transport and accessibility. The lack of through-traffic is excellent. The suburb is undergoing gentrification with subdivision and development and many houses are undergoing renovation. Salisbury isn't shopping heaven, but has two supermarkets, lots of takeaway outlets and a gorgeous little fruit shop down by the post office. Sunnybank is just down the road for delicious dinners while Mt Gravatt is probably the closest for clothes etc. Salisbury has the advantage of being elevated out of the reach of floodwaters but Rocklea market is a short drive away for Saturday shopping. We think we have chosen a really nice place to live and look forward to raising our family here.
