Everton Park

"Excellent, quiet, friendly and clean suburb"

Having moved to Everton Park 18 months ago I have enjoyed every minute of living here. Everything is extremely close, with a Woolworth, coles, big W and Target all within 5 minutes walking distance, however still leaving the suburb with a country town feel!

There is literally Acres of beautiful, clean parklands and sporting fields and the new redevelopments on south pine road will see restaurants and alfresco dining.

Very very happy with living here, plus its only 15 minutes drive to the heart of the city!

In a period of twelve months, I had to call the police ten times to report noise and crazy behavior in rentals near me. This included very open drug use. Yes, the police did act, and fortunately things have improved. But it is nothing like the area it was seven years ago, and wait until the Mirvac development starts and they strip the green off the paddock.

I don't think you are talking about the right suburb Helen, Everton park has been and is lovely, as you said, things have improved (although they were never that bad). Mirvac will compliment the area, just like it did to the now booming and alfresco friendly Crows nest in Sydney, the old Oa'ces is currently being renovated into lovely restaurants.
You best head down to Teralba for a kick of the footy if you think there will be any "stripping of the green", this suburb is just terrific.

I do know where I live. And I know how many people have sold up and left my street in the last two years. And the fact that the streets are clogged with parked cars. Yes, there will be more eateries eventually, which is good, of course. I am very familiar with Teralba park although I do bot kick footy, I have run through it many times. And if the Mirvac development is so wonderful, why is Tim Mander so concerned about it? Because the access roads won't be able to cope with the traffic that's why. I do notice that one of the eateries in the Woolworths complex has gone bust and left, maybe business ain't so good?

I'm not here to argue with you, champ, however here is a bit of advice:
"If you're looking to sell your property, coming on here and bringing down the holsitic rating o the suburb isn't going to help your cause"
Sweetie, I would like to see you run a sandwich shop directly adjacent to a subway and not go bust.
The reality is that Everton park is a terrific suburb.

She is entitled to comment. You love it she obviously doesn't. It sounds like you are woriied about your house sale, which now make me question your reviews, amandaj13. And yes I'm well aware you haven't said you are selling, I'm just inferring that now!
