"Five Dock -it has a ferry to the city and Its getting light rail"
Its going to have light rail soon ! Canada Bay is a great bay run with little beaches, beautiful views of the bay and the river. Get the ferry to the city what a dream. !! The driving access to the city has options to drive via Victoria Road, or the Westlink or Parramatta Road . Yum its has great Italian coffee shops , Check out Sydney Rowing Club it is a Nice club. I grew up in Five Dock- its my happy place. I have been visiting for 60 years as my sister still lives there and she walks her dog every day in a safe friendly dog friendly park. The Schools meet high standards I attended All Hallows and Rosebank College and I have many connections to graduates and teachers from Domremy another excellent school in Five Dock.

I think the review more points to Canada Bay which is a great place to live. Abbotsford Ferry stop and the Rowing club there are very accessible from Five Dock which is the main commercial hub of the council.
(Canada Bay as a whole I mean..ie the LGA)
Five Dock is great but does not have a ferry and its getting the metro not the light rail. Try to be accurate rather than mislead people with you comments
