"New family in town"
It’s been great so far, quiet neighbourhood, feeling safe, really friendly neighbours and away from noisy school kids.
Our kid is 11 and goes to selective so no need for a school catchment, and the house we bought is far enough from any school so it’s pretty safe and quiet.
Shopping centres 5 minutes drive, gym is 2k away and village centre is 1.6km away. Really happy.

update - been here for 1.5 yrs and couldnt be happier. our neighbours are like friends we actually hold street parties for everyone in the little cul de sac and we are all so OCD we put our bins in a line following the colour - i.e. red goes with red, and green goes with green.
