"Renter"
As a professional that works in the city i rented here for 2 months but left because the commute is a killer. Rush hour traffic is terrible and public transport always overcrowded. otherwise an ok location.

"Mitchy"
Not as green, open and nice as surrounding suburbs Arana hills, Bridgeman Downs, Ferny Grove, Keperra etc. High percentage of Defence force residents. Friendly, affordable, on the train line for public transport. Large local shopping complex.

Who lives here?

- Retirees
- LGBT+
He means ppl on the defence force living in the area
If anything went down I'd feel safe lol
If Brisbane was invaded by Alien or a foreign country. Mitchelton should be the last place that Brisbane can hold. ~
"Arana Hills - an undervalued area"
The area is quiet and friendly with a low crime rate and an abundance of parks, national parks and schools. perfectly suited for families or those which just like to live in a quieter area but who travel daily to the CBD. The nearby national parks ensure plenty of birdlife and clear air as opposed to the smog and traffic noise associated with living in town. The local shopping centre has just been upgraded which has almost everything you could need. Larger department stores can be found in one of the quieter major shopping complexes nearby at Brookside shopping centre. Internet and television reception is perfect. Addittionally, Arana Hills was one of the few places in which remained dry during the recent floods which inundated the majority of the state of QLD.
Great for

Who lives here?
- Professionals
- Singles
- Families with kids
