Lived here for one year that was enough really great for cost of living transport a food options thats about it not a safe place to live at all!!!

""Not the best place to live""
Lived here for 2 years and boy that was long enough. Talk about a dirty and rough suburb to live in schools are terrible and you definatley do not feel safe at all. Public transport ok but everywhere so dirty and grafitti everywhere. This is the last place you would want to raise your children. Not a fan of clayton there are much better places to live than here.

""Ok for lower income earners""
Lived in melton for 4 years. Must say did not feel safe allot of the time melton is quite a rough area. Dont recomend allot of the schools either there were not very good. Shopping centre is ok and there is good public transport. But melton would not be a place i wanted to raise my children. A good place for lower income earners tring to get into the housing market although melton is the cheapest suburb to buy for a reason.

It is a nasty horrible place even for low income earners Melton is a bad bad place to raise a family full of drug addicts and meth Heads who do burnouts and party all night

We lived in cairnlea for 2 years generally good so close to everything! School options not great for high schools.And needs more cafees.A fare bit of theft in this area aswell but generally a safe a nice suburb. Great lakes and bike tracks.

Been living here for 2 years now. Caroline springs is a great place for families! Great parks,lakes,sporting facilities & schools. It will be even better once the train station is complete and the extension happens at the shopping centre! Definatley a great place to live.
