Tarragindi

"The best suburb in south Brisbane!"

Tarragindi is a highly desirable suburb to live in and it's easy to see why; close to the city, friendly locals, excellent transport and very green and leafy.

My partner and I grew up in Coorparoo and were delighted when we bought our first property together in Tarragindi. We've been here for two years now and wouldn't think of living anywhere else in Brisbane.

The local fruit shop and grocery store are so convenient and there a few great places to eat as well. The 'Gindi Bowls Club is a fantastic way to spend a Sunday afternoon too!

Did you find that the traffic noise was too much, living so close to the highway?

Chamberlain Street

"Quiet, friendly pocket of Tarragindi"

Chamberlain St is full of exceptionally friendly locals, most of which have been in the area for quite some time. The traffic is local only (with the exception of Weller's Hill school traffic, which isn't a problem for 9-5 workers) and you cannot hear any of the main roads. There is plenty of bird life supplied by Weller's Hill Reserve and the gums between Toohey Rd and Chamberlain St. The fruit shop and Toohey Rd shops are well within walking distance as well as the post office, child care and local bus stops. This street has everything you could ask for!
