Incorrect, also you must live in The ponds as you gave it a perfect rating.
You know that Schofields is still under construction hence messy and dirty. Infrastructure isn't finished yet. Neither is the Ponds region.
The south side of railways station looks to be existing residents but north side is new estate as well as under construction.
If you call residents who drive nice cars and look after their nice houses bogans. You must extremely high standards then. Mind you Schofields looks to be the little brother of the Ponds anyway.

First of all for all who don't speak aussie slang, explain what is bogans please. from reading the other 2 comments here, I am guessing you are referring to rich people? please explain what you see what you like and what you don't like so we , living in other countries, can check and see if this area might work for us.

bogan - an uncultured and unsophisticated person; a boorish and uncouth person.
The word "bogan" is derogatory and carries with it a variety of stereotypes. Bogans typically wear ugg boots, or thongs in summer.

Amy - I live in newly rezoned Tallawong ( north Scofield's) and there are no Bogans here. The demography is middle to upper class residents. Good schools, nearly shops. Very quite and mostly safe streets at night. Transport infrastructure can do with improvements but residents and neighbors quite friendly.
The Ponds is a bit more upper class however it is 200K more expensive just as a comparison.

I wouldn't call it that safe. Around 3 months ago I was walking along Jerralong Drive towards the station to pick up my wife from the train station at around 9:30pm, and coming the other way was a small man, maybe around 18? With his shirt off yelling, I crossed the road to try and avoid him and he started yelling at me threatening to kill me, knock me out calling me a pu***. I've lived in many places including a dodgier side of Brisbane (upper mount gravatt) and never felt unsafe at any time of the night (even after one night of being outside after looking myself out), as well of 2 other parts of Sydney. Never been threatened like this before. The area also has quite a few loud lads who pop up occasionally, near the station/plaza ect. Not sure where they spawn from, sometimes screaming at a bus driver and kicking a bus before it leaves. Lived here for around 9 months and likely won't renew the rent contract.
