When other people always talk about Labrador, the comments I always hear are 'old', 'run down', 'crime ridden'. Whenever I walk around our neighbourhood I see some older homes of which most are being or have been renovated. With the upgrade of Frank Street, all the drug houses have been pulled down, and crime has been drastically reduced (it wasn't that bad to start off with, provided you didn't live within cooeee of Frank street). Lots of nearby restaurants no matter where you live in Labrador. The Broadwater and park lands are just at the end of the street, anywhere in Labrador.
To me the best part about living in Labrador is: IT'S CLOSE THE EVERYTHING!!!! No matter where you want to go, the drive is only minutes. No matter where you work, driving home late afternoon is easy. No traffic jams trying to get into the back suburbs. If you like quality living without the 'prestige', have a look at Labrador. I'm sure you'll love it!
