"There Are Better Places to Live"

Very "Clicky" town. Lot of people out of work. Some seasonal work. Very Cold.

"Best Town in NSW"

Great Climate, Friendly People, Easy Living, Great Value Housing. (average 3 b/r home $175,000 or average $150 rent per week) Cost of living cheaper than the city. Work available for those who genuinly want to work. Schools are fantastic. Overall, a town that will suit all types of people.

Who lives here?

  • Singles
  • Families with kids
  • Retirees

I disagree that there is work available for anybody who GENUINLY wants to work.If the business doesnt have the work, you cant get the job, regardless of how badly you want the it.After 300 resumes sent to local businesses, countless days of walking the streets, approaching every shop in sight.STILL NO JOB.
If you want to move to Cowra, you are best to find work in Orange or Bathurst.

Where are these $150 a week houses of which you speak? Cowra property prices are too over-inflated considering what the town has to offer, (NOTHING)! One has to wonder if there is a bit of price fixing going on between real estate agents here...

Also you can't submit a resume without someone wanting to know your family history. If you're not related to someone their great-grandparents went to school with then forget it. Nepotism and cronyism is alive and well in Cowra
