The Mount has all the facilities you need and ideal for those who appreciate our history and heritage. I've driven the inland highway from Brisbane to Rocky looking at other regional towns and I believe the Mount is the best on offer. The dam is perfect for swimming or boating and with so many hills around, there is a view on nearly every corner. As with any place, all kinds of people live there.... teachers, sales people, artists, cooks, business owners, retirees... Its an interesting and affordable place to live.
