Dapto is a lovely place to live. There are lots of shops and cafes in the Mall and also out on the streets with plenty of public transport ie buses and a main train line. It’s a very safe area with lots of new housing estates bringing young professionals and families to the suburb. Kids have access to great schools and there is a huge medical centre right in the middle of town. There are several sporting grounds, swim schools, a library, community centres offering martial arts, yoga, mums and bubs classses and much more. I have lived here for many years and definitely prefer the Dapto area over Wollongong, Berkeley/ Warrawong or even South like Albion Park or Shellharbour it’s much more peaceful and definitely a safer place to live :)
