We’ve called Brooklyn home for two years now having been priced out of Yarraville and Seddon. We love it here!!! It has a friendly, small-town feel similar to other inner pockets of the West. In fact, I feel safer and more at home here in Brooklyn than I have elsewhere. I don’t drive and love that I can jump on an express bus to the city (southern cross) or to Footscray/Seddon. Altona gate shopping centre (Kmart, ALDI, boutique stores) is also easily walkeable. We have met so many others who have also made the change as Brooklyn becomes more and more popular. Here to stay! 😊
