Redcliffe

"Redcliffe local"

My experience in Redcliffe would have to be that old 34 years as I have lived here this long. Probably in the last 5 years I have experienced a lot more roadworks congested roads and people getting very angry as there's no room to move around Rothwell to Kippa-Ring. Scarborough used to be nice but as a local the signs are not really telling the truth about the beaches. The beaches have a lot of rocks stonefish and if you try to swim anywhere from Scarborough to Woody Point even around Suttons Beach put a drag net in in knee deep water or even just 3 m from the shore and you'll see there is a lot of stingrays and jellyfish. At low tide on a hot day the seaweed stinks like sewage most the time. The sea lice is also in the ocean a lot and the sea isn't a crystal clear like in the pictures it's actually murky brown water as we don't have white sand we have brown sand broken up shells. So the beaches are not that good for swimming there is a lot of old people and retired and mentally ill around Kippa-Ring areas as well. It used to be nice and quiet in Redcliffe but now that it's getting so congested people are starting to build a high rise buildings which makes traffic even worse. The car parks are very small at the local supermarkets and there is a lot of anger made mainly because you're nearly hitting other cars as you drive out around corners. As for the new train station you know what that brings to areas.
