I rented in Leopold for two years near the Dohorty Street shops area. At first, I thought it was quiet and convenient; however, I was very wrong. Crime and drugs are a significant problem in this part of Leopold. Rent is also highly overpriced compared to other suburbs. The local primary school is overcrowded, and the Gateway Plaza offers very limited options. I would look at better alternatives for single parents.
