Greenvale

"Great place to live."

Greenvale is still very cheap for what you get, blocks from 500sqm to 5 acres, modest houses to resort mansions. 6 minutes to Tullamarine Airport, 20 minutes to Docklands, Port Melbourne. Traffic is still very good in Peak compared to other areas, leafy suburb not known to alot of people in Melbourne. It is more like a country town on the edge of the city. Watch Greenvale boom in the next few years as it has not increased excessively as other suburbs and people priced out of Essendon and Moonee Ponds can buy a huge house in Greenvale 10 minutes from Essendon, DFO factory outlets. Check it out you will be shocked at what you can buy with your money. Good Luck.

I agree! Greenvale is defianlty a hidden treasure and just sitting back and waiting..... 10mins to the Tullamarine & Essendon airports, heaps of parks and not to mention the Greenvale reservoir park - owned by Parks Vic, easy and quick access to Tullamarine freeway, so access to DFO & the CBD is an easy run. Greenvale is part of the proposed future train station link and access onto the proposed outer Ring road. The Providence estate, Greenvale (known as little Italy) is well underway. This estate backs onto one of Melbourne's elite private schools. Greenvale is a little European settlement with great people and bright future! Check it out.....

Astroboy Can you tell me more about the rail link. I do like greenvale like the country feel and still close to the city and airport. I see traffic as an issue no matter what suburb you live in. Peak our in any suburb is a mess. My friends live in Brighton and it takes them over 1hour to get to the city, I live in Kielor no difference here. It is a huge issue wherever you are.
