Lived here for almost 3 years now. In the beginning it was decent and enjoyable but has progressively gotten worse throughout the years. Was told that you can barely hear the trains, I live right next to the train line and you can very much hear the trains, and because our air conditioner is broken and cant be fixed, we're forced to have the window open 24/7 which means the trains cant be ignored + our house gets so dusty from the movement of debris from the trains. The train guards announcements are so loud we can clearly hear them from our apartment and the nightly freight trains are so loud and barely slow down when going through our suburb at night. We also didn't have a parking spot and it seems that barely any apartments for rent come with parking spots in Wolli Creek. We took a chance because at the time the traffic wasn't that bad but now the traffic is genuinely UNBEARABLE with limited to no street parking and rangers that fine you so fast for overstaying. The traffic is what has absolutely killed the suburb and is only going to get worse because they're planning on building apartments over the train station. Would never recommend buying here unless you want to rip your hair out at the poorly planned mess of a suburb (most of the streets in Wolli Creek are only one way!!!!)

Desperately seeking to move out and can't wait. Also seeing some 1 bedroom apartments going for $850, ridiculous.
