Mango Hill

"Boganville - Mango Hill"

Mango Hill is surrounded by bad areas and I've never seen so many bogan's in my life. The usual, ute driving, drag racing bogan's who look like they have just got out of bed and speak in their bogan language. I moved here from Sydney, as visually it looks fine and rent for a house was reasonable, whilst was looking for a house to buy. I quickly realised what a mistake I had made moving to what is, a low socioeconomic area. My new house is almost ready in Hendra and can't wait to escape this place ! If you looking to move to Brisbane, stick to a 15km radius from the city (north side or very inner ring south side) as these are very nice areas with nice, 'normal' people. Hendra, Clayfield, Ascot, Hamilton and close surrounds are nice areas in particular.

It does take some time to adjust, moving from Sydney. What you consider "Normal people" will nosedive in coming years

Not sure what you are on about. I moved to Capestone in Mango Hill 9 months ago and I am absolutely loving it. Neighbours are friendly, area is new and clean, all infrastruture is there and the development is still growing, shopping is 5mins away, restaurants are 5 mins away. Have seen no low socioeconomic situations AT ALL or bogans. Hendra and all those suburbs you mentioned are where all the overpriced houses are and if you bought recently, you paid too much. It won't go up again by that much in the near future since the housing market is slowing down. All in all you sound like an out of touch snob.

Great advice assuming you have in excess of $750K to buy a home with, which is generally not the budget required at Mango Hill.

Its horrible, Im glad I left, people from the city like to have a go at regional areas as being Bogan yet Brisbane has the biggest concentration ever, I moved to NQ and guess what I found.. not that many Bogans compared to Brisbane.

Anyone who has to be so offensive in labelling others with such distain must have a seriously distorted opinion of themselves, which from my experiences could only come from insecurities deep inside.

Glad you moved out so whoever lives there, doesn't have to put up with someone hating on them so much. Perhaps a more constructive review of the suburb would have sufficed, other than bagging others for having less money and a different way of living.
