Mango Hill

"Horrid"

I don't see the appeal of this place at all? I had friends from here visit me in Townsville and they were amazed at how beautiful it is up here and have made plans to move, seriously. They feel like they were "conned" into Mango Hill and felt unsatisfied with life their.

Griffin

"I used to live here"

I never really liked living in Griffin, it was far too stressful and the people were rude, my neighbours were like something of that SBS show "housos" and I left in 2017 to move to Townsville to be close to my daughter, I have found the lifestyle I was craving in Townsville and look back on my time in Griffin as a total wasted time in my life.

Things change over time, as they say. My partner & I moved up to Brisbane from Sydney a few months ago & there were some reservations because we know nothing about where to live in Brisbane. We considered a few suburbs (one was out of our price range, unfortunately) & in our searches, came across Griffin. One day I asked the residents in the street we were looking into buying & they had nothing but good to say about it. So, we took the plunged, bought a house & 5 months in & we're still here Haha! Kidding aside, the street we're in is lovely & so is our next-door neighbour, who said hello not long after we moved in. Not all suburbs are perfect. There's bound to be good & bad about it. Griffin is good for the most part - it's got a school, a couple of daycare centres, a gym & dine-in establishments. I sincerely hope the construction of a community shopping centre up the road goes ahead. It says to start in late 2022 & I don't see anything but an open field out there.
