If someone had told me I would be living inner city with two children 10 years ago I would have told them they were crazy! Yet here we are it’s 2018 and we own a lovely terrace. Chippendale is certainly squashed between a number of busy roads yet if you are in the middle near Peace Park you would never know.
Living in Chippendale has so many wonderful advantages, you can walk/bike/scooter (my children’s preferred mode of transport) to so many things including the Carriageworks growers markets every Saturday, the Powerhouse Museum and Tumbalong Park via The Goods line, Victoria Park, use the wonderful facilities at Sydney University. There are always things on in the city or neighbouring suburbs to adventure to.
As for great places to eat and drink, the list is endless! One of our absolute favourites is Kindred. Surprisingly there are a number of young families that live in Chippendale and Peace Park is a place where many families meet to play. The families and community here are wonderful .
