Coming here from another big city I had to get used to the aircraft noise that is intrusive although Shelley is 12 km from the airport things are changing now as the flightpath will be led over industrial areas by mid 2015. The proximity to the river where we take our kayaks and the 20 minute ride into Perths CBD without traffic jams there even in rush hour makes this the best place I have ever lived !
